Very nice dining experience. Service was perfect. Food was delicious. Rated as the #1 fine-dining restaurant in Denver on Yelp. I can see why. I started with an order of Foccacia, it came with Olive Oil, Red Wine Vinegar, Grana Padano. Delicious. Probably the best foccacia I've ever had. Then, for Antipasti, I ordered Capesant...Diver Scallop (3), Esoterra Tardivo, Pine Nut, Preserved Lemon This, too, was delicious. A combo of textures and flavors. It had balsamic vinegar and pomegranate seeds, too, which was not on the description. Also, the scallops were on what tasted like a hummus. Not sure what it was. Probably the Pine Nut. For Primi, I ordered their Tagliatelle...Maine Lobster, Calabrian Chili, Preserved Tomato, Celery. Had a very subtle spiciness to it. Delicious. I wanted to get a Secondi dish, but kept room for dessert. Dessert menu had classic Italian desserts. Against my inner demons, I ordered the Tiramisu. Every Italian restaurant I've know has it on their menu. Yawn...boring. However, it came in a souffle cup completely smooth with cocoa powder on top., and my first thought was they gave me the wrong dessert. I thought is this their Panna Cotta? As I dug in, though, I found a layered dish of delicious, creamy, cake, Espresso, Rum, Mascarpone, Cocoa. One layer had a crunch to it. Maybe ground espresso beans? Super good. The dinner and service were excellent despite the large dining room being full. There seemed to be a Server for each of the tasks. Never a long wait. Dinner, wine, dessert, for one, without my gratuity...$116.00.

Easy 5 star restaurant. Visited Denver for the first time. Went here to celebrate my brother's birthday who loves Italian food. Enjoyed everything we had. Service was outstanding. Highly recommend this restaurant and would actually go again when going to Denver.

My boyfriend and I sat at the bar last night and had the most amazing time! We were there for happy hour food but ended up ordering from the dinner menu as well. From the ambience to service to food, there's nothing I could complain about! Our bartender took a great care of us and made the experience better. We were so full but had to get desserts- tiramisu and crostata di mele. Both were phenomenal! I suggest booking in advance because we reserved the last spot at the bar. Buccatini Amatriciana was my fav. Highly recommend checking this place out

* High end fine dining Italian * Competitive with the best Italian Restaurants in New York, San Francisco, Miami and Italy * Top quality ingredients and preparations * 40+ page wine list focused on Italy and Champagne We came for a great lunch, 2 courses $40 pp, had to add on another pasta after the amazing Malfete in lamb ragú. Oenophiles will enjoy Krug Grand Cuvee for only $56 per glass, perhaps the lowest price anywhere. Servers are excellent, knowledgeable with a great Sommelier Luis Miramontes. Tavernetta is part of a successful mini empire of great restaurants in Denver and Boulder.

We had a magnificent experience all around. Our Italian, loud family has bottomless pits of for appetite so this was the perfect gourmet, authentic establishment to try (almost) every item tapas style. The focaccia bread with an herby olive oil was divine on its own, but paired with the burrata dish elevated the flavors beyond. We ordered the pasta sampler to get a taste of each distinct style including the most simple ingredient but mouthwatering flavors, a Cacio e Pepe rigatoni style. The arancini were the perfect bite size crisp, and the Osso Buco bison special with apple and butternut farro risotto was to die for. The ambience was a sexy lounge with great energy and the service was extremely attentive and receptive of our (many) needs. Thank you so much for a wonderful dining experience.

We stopped into Tavernetta, located right at the end of the tracks by Union Station, without a reservation and were lucky to snag seats at the bar for a fantastic Happy Hour experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful in guiding us through the menu. The drinks were expertly crafted, and the food was just as impressive. The Romana Pasta Flight is a must-try, featuring four fresh and delicious pasta dishes, including two rigatonis and two bucatinis. The atmosphere at the bar was lively and inviting, making it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy great food and drinks.

Delicious & beautiful atmosphere. Natural light , fireplace , spaced out seating. Service was good- helpful with the menu and prompt to grab more cocktails. We went here before a show at Buell theater. You could probably take an Uber from here as it was a 6 min drive to the theater. But we reparked our car at the theater. Food was so delicious!!! Mushroom crostini was our favorite- loaded with mushrooms and creamy herbal flavor. Then we shared the pasta flight so we could try it all. Carbonara was my favorite but my husband liked the red sauce one the best. I enjoyed all the pastas though. Insalata also delicious and smothered in shaved Parmesan- would be kid friendly too. Meatballs were our least favorite- not very flavorful and the sauce bland but not bad. Cocktails were on point- they have a good selection of whiskey and I had a spritzer. Will definitely be back again. Happy hour is daily from 3-6pm which helps a little with the price for some items. .

WOW, just wow... I see why this restaurant is Michelin rated as is now one of the best restaurants I've tried. This restaurant is very unique as they are always changing their menu but still have a handful of items on the menu that does not change. This makes me want to come back all the time to try everything! The food is to die for! We started off with the freshly made focaccia and the burrata. Don't skip on either of these as it was unlike any other focaccia and burrata I've ever had! You won't regret it. For the main entree we got the gnudi pasta and it was one of the most flavorful meal I've ever had. It was rich, not too rich, creamy, and delicious! We also tried the rigatoni which is a classic favorite and doesn't get removed from the menu, also very good! The service was excellent, we were very well taken care of and was given a tasting of their special wine for our anniversary which made it special. 100% would come back and would 100% recommend anyone to come here to try it or for a nice date night!

The food was absolutely delicious! We shared the focaccia and burrata (perfect pairing). I had the rigatoni (lamb ragu) - the flavors were so savory. The tagliatelle (lobster tomato sauce) and parpadelle (mushroom, corn, peach sauce) were also really good, but I thought the lamb ragu was the best for my taste buds. Service was pleasant and professional. We sat outside which was nice to watch the trains. I'd def recommend Tavernetta to a friend.

I wanted to eat at a Michelin star restaurant for my birthday. The exceptional cuisine and outstanding reviews made Tavernetta an ideal choice. Upon arrival, we were promptly seated. and treated with impeccable service, making us feel like royalty. With an upscale modern decor. On our way to our seats we walked by their open kitchen. It was very impressive to see. We started with drinks, carrying out my quest to find the best Espresso Martini, I'm sorry to say this one didn't even make it on my list. I opted for the sea bass, presented in a manner I found unappealing, with the head and tail attached. However, the dish's taste was outstanding. Besides that side step everything was top notch. Mouth watering delicious. A delightful touch at the end of dinner was the candle accompanying my tiramisu, perfectly concluding my birthday celebration.
